You can already exit Sync in a number of ways!

Manually:

i.e. on the Windows desktop client right-click the Sync icon in the system try and select Exit, on the Android client select Menu -> Exit, etc

Automatically:

Sync can be exited programmatically via the "SHUTDOWN" Sync API call

...or you can force an exit via the command line - i.e. in Windows, execute:

Taskkill /F /IM BTSync.exe

I now it. I want to exit automatically - from automateIt or Liama...

 I wasn't talking to you.

But +1 from me for the feature. Seems that currently Llama can't kill BTSync even with root rights and the "die die die" hardcore option.

Seems like you don't know what an "intent" in Android is :)

To be fair, the OP didn't reference the fact that he was specifically referring to Android! :P

It will be greate because now btsync is greedy for battery. With this option people can create periodic tasks for sync :)

In terms of Sync being "greedy for battery", are you also aware of the "Battery Saver" and "Auto-Sleep" settings in the Android app to help lower battery consumption by Sync?
