GreatMarko
You can already exit Sync in a number of ways! Manually:i.e. on the Windows desktop client right-click the Sync icon in the system try and select Exit, on the Android client select Menu -> Exit, etc Automatically:Sync can be exited programmatically via the "SHUTDOWN" Sync API call ...or you can force an exit via the command line - i.e. in Windows, execute:Taskkill /F /IM BTSync.exe
ChrisH
Seems like you don't know what an "intent" in Android is It's kind of an API call that can be triggered by external applications.http://developer.android.com/reference/android/content/Intent.html
atvhglrvagzy
I now it. I want to exit automatically - from automateIt or Liama...
ChrisH
I now it. I want to exit automatically - from automateIt or Liama... I wasn't talking to you. But +1 from me for the feature. Seems that currently Llama can't kill BTSync even with root rights and the "die die die" hardcore option.
GreatMarko
Seems like you don't know what an "intent" in Android is To be fair, the OP didn't reference the fact that he was specifically referring to Android!
atvhglrvagzy
It will be greate because now btsync is greedy for battery. With this option people can create periodic tasks for sync
GreatMarko
It will be greate because now btsync is greedy for battery. With this option people can create periodic tasks for sync In terms of Sync being "greedy for battery", are you also aware of the "Battery Saver" and "Auto-Sleep" settings in the Android app to help lower battery consumption by Sync?
