I'm syncing all my personal data (photos, documents, music) between my home PC, office PC and a dedicated server running 24/7. I have about 50'000 files at 300GB. I essentially use it as backup solution for my photos.Unfortunately the software randomly deletes files from time to time (moves them to the ".SyncArchive" folder). Every now and then I check the folder and restore them if necessary. Lately I didn't have the problem though.Until today:Suddenly 200GB of my data has been moved to the ".SyncArchive" directory. Why does this happen all of a sudden and how can I prevent it? It's pretty much random (no pattern). I'm kind of concerned about my data! RomanZ Posted September 12, 2014 Report Share Posted September 12, 2014 @brookmanWhen file is moved to SyncArchive it means that some other peer sent deletion message. What history says? Does it indicates which peer deleted files? Also - do you have the debug log capturing the deletion event so I can take a look at it?
