trevorbsmith
Step 4 here: http://sync-help.bittorrent.com/customer/portal/articles/1574723-step-by-step-guide-to-syncing never happens. I went through steps 1-3 no problem. I have the computer I'm sitting at saying "pending approval". But there is no ".... wants access to TREVOR" with a green checkmark or red arrow after it on my work computer. In short, I can set up sync, I can send an invite to sync, I can receive the invite, I can run BT sync in the 2nd computer, and I can "connect" but the 1st computer never gives me the option to "authorize" the 2nd computer. Granted, the computers are at home and at work. It is possible that the home computer is going to sleep by the time I get to work. Would that stop the computer at work from knowing that the computer at home has said please approve me and is stuck at "Pending approval"? I'm using the latest Mac OS X Mavericks at work, and the latest BETA of Mac OS X Yosemite at home.
christiannaths
I'm having the exact same problem on OS X Mavericks (both machines).
zabouti
I have the same problem on OS X Mavericks. Each of my two machines - on the same LAN - is waiting for approval, but neither lets me approve the other. I've never been able to get BS to work but this at least seems closer to success. I'd really love some enlightenment here!
RomanZ
@all,This usually happens when 2 peers can't connect. Do you have other folders that sync for these 2 peers? Also, you can try to remove the invitation and simply copy key from one computer and enter to another via "copy key" function - and see if they can conact each other at all. wimbit
I found that when the Plex tab is open in Chrome, it blocks the pending request for some reason. When I close the Plex tab, then the approval message pops up. Could have something to do with the Plex/Chromcast ports/connections? Hope that helps in some way ...
