leo037
I'm just curious if there's a way to increase the encryption level?
GreatMarko
You'll need to be more specific - are you talking about encryption of keys, links, files, transfers?? - either way, try searching the forums, as these topics have been discussed and debated previously - at length! For example, you can find more about security/encryption in this blog post and in these threads too 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 |
leo037
Yes I poked around first to see what topics there were. All of the questions are based around questions of privacy. "How secure is it", "share the key via trusted methods", etc. Many of these types of questions are being asked by people who don't understand the fundamentals of much of today's technology that they use on a daily basis That's not what I asked. I simply want to know if there is a way to manually increase the level of encyption of data in transit. I can specify a minimum level of encryption of an IPSec VPN tunnel, the higher the encryption, the slower it performs, etc. I'd like to have the choice. Now if I can do that via a config file in linux or registry key in windows. That's what I want to know. Thanks
