Borph
After installing Synology package 2.2.5 some of my shared folders seem to have an error, see screenshot (column is 'status'). The folder exists, and the access rights seem to be right, also for the .sync folder. Any idea? Another issue (minor ATM): under "Preferences -> Advanced -> More Options" it opens just the warning message, but in previous version there was a number of options to change. Seems to be wrong purely in UI.
RomanZ
@BorphThe "Cannot identify..." message appears when .sync folder and its content was either removed or modified. Could you please check if .sync folder have the ID file and it still 32 bytes size? Also, was it clearly after upgrade or there were some other actions taken? Borph
It was clearly after upgrade. The ID was 20 bytes, I disconnected, deleted .sync, and connected again and it seems to be fine! Any idea about the "More Options"?
Moe
Did you disconnect the folder, delete the .sync folder and re-attached it just now as a fix? And did that work out for you? Also be sure to have the path correct when you re-add the folder. Sync likes to add the folder name "twice" to the path in Sync GUI. RomanZ
@BorphFor the "More options" - we are aware of it and working to get it fixed.
Borph
@Moe, yes that is exactly what I did. I took care when adding that the path in the last dialog is correct.
