I have a Linux CLI client running on a VPS somewhere that I use to serve as a persistent always-on peer. So now I want to have my photo backup folders onto this VPS too. On the android app I then enabled Photo Backups, and get the share key (starting with "B"). Then on the CLI client, I edited the conf file and added a new shared folder entry with this B key as the secret. Lastly, I restarted the CLI client. The client restarted and does nothing. Remirus Posted December 21, 2015 Report Share Posted December 21, 2015 wshyang, If you did everything correctly and Sync is running you can check your android device to see if peer is online or not. If peer is online and doesn't transfer files, you can contact us via this form, mention this topic and send logs for analysis. If peer is not online then devices cannot discover each other.
