bugusnot Posted March 6, 2016 Report Share Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) hi, i'm just having a problem where i'm not finding any answer to: i have a mac 10.11.3 and windows 10-pc sharing a folder. they recognize each other and show the other peer online, sync even seems to be aware of the latest changes since in the peer list on the mac says "106 files to ...". however, the sync simply does not start. both computers are in the same intranet and other connections between the two of them work just fine. what is the problem? thanks for any help! karl edit: i also already tried removing the syncfolder and reestablishing it anew but this did not do any difference. Remirus Posted March 17, 2016 Report Share Posted March 17, 2016 bugusnot, there can be various reasons why synchronization doesn't start. for example it might happen due to permissions issue or maybe you have asterisk symbol "*" at the end of some file name.
