FlashPan
Hi everyone, I'm in the process of setting up a 1 way sync/backup regime from 1 win 7 pc to another win 7 pc. The "source" win 7 machine I have already installed and configured and the Tbs of data has been indexed (too a very long time). I've noticed now that I installed the 32bit version of the Bittorrentsync software. I have not setup the "destination" win 7 machine yet. Am I able to upgrade to the 64 bit version without having to start over? (I have made a varitery of backups of my sync data/dbases etc). Thanks and cheers again for a great product. RomanZ
@FlashPan Yes, you can do it. Uninstall Sync (it will ask during uninstall if you want to wipe out Sync's data... well, you definitely want to keep it ). Install 64-bit version. Run it, it should pick up all the settings from 32bit.
