jlaidlaw86 Posted June 12, 2016 Report Share Posted June 12, 2016 I have sync installed on my home server which is in turn always connected to the Internet via vpn I can send files between my server and other devices as long as they are connected on my home lan network. however, if I am on a different network from my lan sync will show my device connected as a peer but no data transfer will occur. Remirus Posted June 13, 2016 Report Share Posted June 13, 2016 jlaidlaw86, when devices are not located in the same network Sync uses tracker server to discover another device. This article explains why peers might not be able to discover each other. If that doesn't help please send us logs according to this instruction and mention this topic.
