I powered it on but when Sync started i found that its empty and ask me to enter my identify. I have old copy of 2.3.6 folder. I copy sync.dat from backup in current folder but Sync doesn't recognise it anymore and starts with blank config. In log file i found Unsupported or empty sync.dat file Unsupported or empty sync.dat file Can i restore folder ids from old *.dat file? Helen Posted October 6, 2016 Report Share Posted October 6, 2016 That line means that when Sync started is storage was empty. not sure what exactly sync.dat and where exactly you put that is it BitTorrent Sync or Resilio Sync, and what exactly Sync you launched - 2.4 or 2.3.x, but to the get configuration back, these files/folders shall be preserved - .SyncUser### folder with your current identity, settings.dat and all .db file, sync.dat. It has full list of folders in subfolder "folder" ))) How can i rename or move these folders to make Resilo use them instead of new blank ones?
