tschoui
Hi, I'm currently testing Sync for a small business. The goal is to have a central server with a fast connection in the datacenter and several clients that sync to and from it. Since we're transferring large files Sync seems like a good option. The only problem is, that most of the clients only have a limited bandwidth (100kbyte/s or lower). While testing I noticed, that their upload is always maxed out, even when the datacenter server has free capacities to push with full speed to the clients that aren't in sync. Is it possible to limit the clients upload to the time when they are pushing files or prioritize the server in the peer list? Best thing would be, if the server is always the first one to get the file from the client and then pushes it with a fast connection to the rest. Helen
With p2p you cannot prioritize one peer out of many, they are all peers. Once the server has a file piece it'll upload that to others who don't. you can set a scheduled limit for upload speed, but it's available only in Pro version.
