How to determine if one-way sync is complete?

Hello,

I have set up a one-way sync. Due to limited disk space I need to empty the source folder before adding new items. How do I determine if my current files have completed the syncing to the remote computer?

The "Transfer" tab was only showing a single file's progress. My "History" tab never showed any progress and is now blank.

I am not sure how to interpret the data in the sync.log file.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Dana

P.S. Great App. Looking forward to new features and Android version.

Thank you for the quick response. If I understand correctly, the Devices tab will show "Synced" or the amount of data left to be synced for a shared folder.

If I have multiple files in the shared folder, how do I determine which file(s) have completed and which still need to be synced?

Are there lines in the sync.log file that I can search on using and editor?

Thank you,

Dana

On this, has anyone noticed that it sometimes incorrectly reports how much needs to be done?

IE: I've got five shares. All of which are (in reality) synced.

However, one shows 18.7GB remaining, one shows 2.3GB and one shows 2.7GB

Probably caused by the other end incorrectly reporting how much it has stored in its directory.

This really seems to happen on RO syncs. However, if I copy new files to the directory, it picks them up and syncs without a problem.

Source end is Windows 7, Destination end is SLinux 6.4

Happens to me too.

Hard to say wether there is still something to be done or not.

I also keep getting "Merge: found local node without file" - not sure this is related.

Most of my shares are RO- for backup.

But even a fully shared directory within three clients get's "out of sync" - while it indeed IS in Sync..

Is btsync listening sniffing some io-information - and therefore missing updates while it is not running?

However- love the idea but am currently strugling with those wrong stats..
