frater
I'm running headless Linux servers and Windows desktops. I just downloaded the Linux binary on my Windows desktop unpacked the tgz with WinRAR and then used winscp to transfer it to several Linux servers. If you would post the URL on your webpage I could right-click it into my clipboard and type "wget " and right click in putty and it's there. Please post a direct URL At least for the headless Linux daemon. Cheers
BtbN
No idea how the current download links could be any more direct. The point directly onto the archive file.
frater
No, they don't. If you select the x64 URL from a browser (running on another machine of course, as the machine that runs it is headless) it will bring you to another page without any link. The file then starts to download on the machine that doesn't need it. Cheers
Harold Feit
No it doesn't. Please follow the link in the first post in http://forum.bittorrent.com/topic/24781-
frater
Will this ever change?Everytime I want to upgrade I have to download the file on my desktop, unpack it and then upload it to my own webserver. Then I'm able to use wget and download it on headless systems on the CLI.... Bittorrent Sync is great software, but that website for downloading it is #$%!
Harold Feit
I don't know what you've been doing different, but going to the download page for the current build (now at http://forum.bittorrent.com/topic/29944- as of this post) has links that can be put into your favorite remote shell (putty for example) for use with wget.
