Hi I just got my new Galaxy S4 yesterday.

First thing on it was BitTorrent Sync. All was well.

Last night once I got home, I updated from 4.2.2 to 4.3, then to 4.4.2.

This morning, files were still syncing but I couldn't add a new folder. I always get bittorrent has stopped working error.

Diagnostic Info:

Package version: 1.3.14.0

Phone: SGH-I337M

Release: 4.4.2 I337MVLUFNC1

Exception class name: java.lang.NullPointerExecption

Source File: StorageInfo.java

Source class: com.bittorrent.sync.utils.StorageInfo

Source method: getStorageList

Line: 183

I have tried re-installing and clearing the cache, reboots in between. Nothing fixed it yet.

Thanks for any help!

When you updated your Samsung phone to KitKat, your phone lost the ability for its apps to write to external storage:

So you now get that error. You can fix this by rooting your phone and installing the Xposed module HandleExternalStorage, or by flashing the CyanogenMod 11 ROM.
