RomanZ
wupi, BTSync usually shows this error when it fails to write ".SyncID" file to the sync directory. I consider checking permissions of the user which runs btsync process: it should have full access to the sync folder.
wupi
I really don't understand whats the problem is.I tried something, btsync runs at root, the folder on my hdd has chmod 777 and i still get the same error message, normally it should work is that correct ?The .SyncID gets created, the folders too. Nefarious
As of April 5th, I have the same issue. Eventually the btsync service fails and has to be restarted. I'm using a raspberry pi that is synced to a win7 box. It seems the app update broke things.
RomanZ
Wupi, Nefarious, As @mojeda mentioned, it indeed looks like you are affected by "too many open files" issue, like in this thread. Please check if you have the "too many open files" message in your sync.log. If you do - the fix is coming and will be published soon. If no - I'll need your debug logs, configured for full output.
