GreatMarko
Have you tried the unofficial Linux desktop UI packages?

cypsele
I post the question with another term : is there a autoinstal' linux version of btsync ?
Helen
cypsele, What exactly do you mean under "autoinstal', what behavior do you expect from it? I'm not sire I fully understand it. Maybe you meant autostart? And why would you want to use curl for that?
cypsele
When you download btsync for mac ( for example), a dmg file is obtained, you double click the volume and the installation is automatic. Then just go into the application of mac folder to start btsync and see the shared and synchronized folders. You can open a folder in btsync (double click) and drag in a new file on your hard drive that will sync mac and copied to other computers connected. Currently on ubuntu, I have to use a browser (firefox) to connect to the server and see what the server with the files and sync and remote workstations that are connected. But it is impossible for me to see (open) the folders and make changes (additions or deletions). Now I would like on the server make changes to files in the shared and synchronized folders. Thus, the changes would be carried on different computers connected (eg an update of an .ini file) Ist it possible ?
tuxpoldo
Yes I did (terminal process and not auto package process) and when I did :sh -c "$(curl -fsSL http://debian.yeasoft.net/add-btsync-repository.sh)"I have a message which said "no curl installed" ??? OK - you have to install curl before (usually it is present on any system): sudo apt-get install curlWhen curl is installed you can redosh -c "$(curl -fsSL http://debian.yeasof...repository.sh)"p.S.: do not forget to remove the server version of btsync. Here are the bad news for you: you can not install anything more on your system. The reason is that your system is still running Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) that is not supported any more by canonical since 2013-05-09 and therefore Canonical has removed the package repositories. See the Liste des versions d'Ubuntu for details about Ubuntu versions and support periods. There are two excellent reasons to update/reinstall your system with a current version of Ubuntu:Since your system did not get any update since more than one year, it is highly vulnerable to hacker attacks. You have no chance to install anything new on your system. If your system is a server and you do not want to make a full update every 6 Months, you should take an LTS (Long Term Support) version of Ubuntu. he current LTS version is 14.04 and will be supported until April 2019
cypsele
Thank you very much for your opinion. Yes, it is an ubuntu server. I will search for TLS solution or see if it is easy to upgrade without any problem for our soft (medintux with msql database).
