ade_m Posted August 11, 2014 Report Share Posted August 11, 2014 Hi All, I sync two folders between two PCs.One of the photos sits on each PCs Hard disk as a working area.Once the work is done, I move the work over to the second folder, which sits on an external USB disk, on both PCs. The USB drives are because its 100s of GBs of video and photos and once edited they don't need to stay on the laptop. So - when I move the files on the first PC, Bitsync obligingly deletes the files in the second PC as the first moves the files over. Once the files moved, Bitsync then re-transmits the entire file over to the second PC again. Can't we make this smarter somehow ? Move the files locally ?, rather than having to retransmit Gigs of data that already exists on the same PCs. I've no idea how BitSync could detect the "move", so I'm not hopeful :-( Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
