ronaksf
I am having an issue where I have a Linux and Windows btsync clients, and need a little help. I have a library of Music that I am trying to sync between locations. Each location has a btsync client, one is windows and the other is Linux. When they sync there is a nameing convention issue when dealing with non-standard characters. Like ~ and é. So if the file on the Windows side contains a non-standard character it will sync it to the Linux client with a wierd character. Is there a way to force the btsync client to us the actual characters that are in windows??
Harold Feit
What locale are you using on your linux machines?
GreatMarko
@ronaksf, what version(s) of Sync are you running? If they're anything less than 1.4.99, please update them to this build as this may solve your issue. Earlier 1.4.x builds had issues syncing files with names containing non-ASCII characters in them, and this was fixed for 1.4.99.
ronaksf
Well I think the problem might be that I am running the linux Client on a RaspberryPI, whcih is on Version 1.2.67. Is there a newer build for the Raspberry?
Harold Feit
1.4.99 - ARM build, yes.
