fattoony
Spent the last 3 days trying to get all my devices synced up with no results, there are just so many errors, 600+GB folders wiped then re-synced & on an on it go’s. I understand the need to monetise, like most software company's start offfree to get public recognition & a following not to mention the bug finding & testing, then when the software starts to get stable some sort of pay for tier is added. But I have never known functionality be removed, (i.e. 10 folder limit) breaking people'sworkflows / folder structures & causing me & i am sure many other people significant disruption. This seems no way to treat a loyal user-base that is at least equal parts responsible for where thisproduct is today. All this is from a company we are to trust with our data? I won't go on about the crazy over pricing & subscription model except to say at this point I would pay $40 to have someone remove this broken 2.0 off all my devices. My intentions now are to set about downgrading all my devices to 1.4in the short term & start looking at the alternatives out there with a view to jumping ship. Such a shame, I really did love btsync 1.4 & converted many people to it.My thanks to btsync for creating a great sync solution, i enjoyed it whilst it lasted. dd6905
I feel the same. 2.0 doesn't seem to work. 1.4 didn't completely work with out of sync problems, but the crippleware feature added in 2.0 is not good. I can understand charging for support, but the limits are too basic where it is not going to be usable. I thought this was more of an open source project and that is why I supported it. I agree, I would consider jump ship and sideline this until better solutions came out.

Regards, Well said - 2.0 is kind of a downer and in need of a serious rethink. I don't understand why the additional functionality couldn't have been added without completely changing the way the software works. Ive just downgraded to 1.4 where I will stay. I will be happy to try 2.5 or 3.0 when they put it back to its glorious self.
