I'm in the middle of setting up a 1 way backup regime from 1 Win 7 machine to another Win 7 machine over the internet. I've been doing some testing and all is working ok so far but before I go live I have 1 maybe important question. On the host/source machine I've setup some scripts to backup my settings/db/.sync folders, so I know I am ok here in case something melts I am wondering on the recipient/destination machine do I need to backup any settings on that at all? GreatMarko Posted March 27, 2016 Report Share Posted March 27, 2016 Yes, settings are specific to the current node/device. i.e. making a change to a setting on one device, won't change the corresponding setting on all other devices you're syncing with - therefore, you may wish to backup settings on each of your devices.
