korikori
Hi all, I am using the Camera backup functionality on an iPhone, and I sync to a server from time to time. Another software on the server will regularly check the backup folder for new contents, and then copy and import them into a gallery app. However, with time the backup directory on the server will grow, and this process will take more and more time (real and CPU), so I'd like to clean up the backup directory. I tried deleting the pictures from my iPhone, and I discovered that this does not affect the directory on the server. I can go and delete files from the server manually - this will generate warnings, but it does not seem to break anything. Is this the only way to achieve this, or is there a better approach? Thanks. Frank Maier
The camera backup in Resilio Sync is implemented as backup. But you want it synced. I dont't own an iOS device, but can't you add the camera folder to Resilio Sync as a typical synced folder, instead of as a backup folder? kramttocs
Same situation as op (but on Android). Love the camera backup but sometimes I want to start fresh. There really should be a way on the phone, after deleting all or any local files to force a manual one way sync.
