  1. I'm looking for more registry manageble options. It would be great to install BTSync silently and push the configuration via registry. This way we can manage all BTSync settings for the whole desktop fleet simply by using domain policies. I want to be able to configure new sync folders, configure secret keys, preconfigured hosts, ports, notifications when downloads are finished, disable/enable automatic updates etc......all remotely. This way we can use BTSyn on our company network icw SCCM2012......and ditch the multicast crap.
  2. I have a 'read-only' folder synced with several desktops. What should the BTSync behaviour be when I delete some files on desktops that are synced from the RO folder? Imo the file should be restored again by the sync process.....but this is not the case. Is this normal?
  3. We tried to convince BitTorrent 6 years ago to create a more 'LAN friendly' solution (ask Greg Hazel)! So....to be honest I'm quite shocked to see that BitTorrent ignored this sync solution all those years. It didn't prevent us to build a solution around uTorrent in 2008 were we succesfully deployed 4 GB Microsoft WIM images and applications to 6500 desktops using P2P technology. http://torrentfreak.com/university-uses-utorrent-080306/ http://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2008/03/dropping-22tb-of-patches-on-6500-pcs-in-4-hours-bittorrentdropping-22tb-of-patches-on-6500-pcs-in-4-hours-bittorrent/ As a BitTorrent fan I'm really looking forward to test BitTorrent Sync and give feedback wherever I can.
