Linux: Can't Add Non-Empty Folder With Existing (Read Only) Key

I've been having this exact same issue when attempting to sync non-empty R/W folders as well. The GUI is also non-responsive when trying to "Update key" through the preferences menu (no error messages). Running a Raspberry Pi B with the latest version of Raspbian.
