  1. No. I know it used to work, but I've tested this on 4 different machines (2 different IDs) and none of them are working.
  2. Forgot about that setting, but yes that is enabled (for all of my folders that I checked).
  3. folder_defaults.delete_to_trash is set to true. I'm testing this with a very small text file.
  4. This not working. No matter which machine I create the file and then delete it (same or different machines), the file does not show up in Archive.
  5. So if I had moved all files out of that folder (that it backs up to), that should have solved the problem as well, correct?
  6. But that's what I am saying, I had it disabled for 2 months and it worked perfectly. I just disabled it again, and now it's working again.
  7. I don't know that this applies to the ticket that I opened, so I am going to post it here: "Overwrite any changed files" does not work as a solution for me. Once these are backed up, I move and sort the images. However, with "Overwrite any changed files" enabled, now on every sync, these files are backed up again, so that now I have tons of duplicate files - the ones in the backup and the ones that have been moved. I used the backup feature for 2 months without "Overwrite any changed files" enabled and it worked exactly how I need it to, there has to be another way to make this work.
  8. It's worse than I thought. All of my .sync folders are gone - that means all of my IgnoreList changes are gone. Not only will that take me a lot of time to fix, I don't even know what all of those were and some were very painstaking to figure out. This is a nightmare.
  9. What could possibly make this happen? I just checked my laptop and it's the same way. All 3 Windows 10 x64 Pro machines, all completely disconnected from all folders.
  10. So I thought these were separate issues, but now I'm not so sure. When I started to sync tonight, the machine I do the camera backup was disconnected. When I check it, I found this: Now even though I have the iOS backup connected, and overwrite enabled, it's stuck on connecting again.
  11. Everything was working fine (except for this iOS backup issue until tonight and suddenly all of my folders on all of my machines are disconnected (including the iOS app). What could cause that? Now I have to go back and re-connect them all (and I have a lot.)
  12. I'm not sure what hash you are referring to. If you mean mean data stored by Sync, then I don't see how backup software would modify that. If the file was modified at all, the modification date would have changed.
  13. If the file was touched, it would change the modification date and I know that that is not happening. What really doesn't make sense is nothing has changed, but BTS just started having this problem.
  14. Sorry, yes, that is correct. You're a genius! Thanks. Now I am curious about what changed those files - this process is the only thing that uses that folder, except for backups (CrashPlan, Todo).
  15. This has worked great, until today. Now, when I open the iOS app, I just "Connecting..." and the machine it syncs with says the last sync was 3 days ago (which is correct). All other BTS clients (Windows desktops) are syncing just fine.
  16. But there is no user on any of my machines named "KDAVISOFFSITE". In fact, the username on all of these machines keithdavis. Now, these are running as a Windows Service, so the user name is actually: KDAVISOFFSITE\keithdavis KDAVISHOME\keithdavis KDAVIS\keithdavis So maybe it picked the machine name instead of the username, but why KDAVISOFFSITE, it was not the first one?
  17. Ok, now I see that KDAVISOFFSITE is also the identity name. I would never have used that name, but I never saw it ask me what I wanted that to be. KDAVISOFFSITE was not the first machine I installed, either, KDAVIS was the first.
  18. I don't know what you mean by "identity name". What is that and how did that name get assigned? KDAVISOFFSITE is the name of one of my machines. That name and the 2 linked machines shown when I click on it are on all 3 folders, they all look exactly the same. But only 1 of those 3 folders are actually synced to KDAVISOFFSITE. This is so confusing. Thanks for the help.
  19. Well, it is the machine name, but it's also the name I assigned to the device on installation (to keep it simple, I named all of my peers the same name as their machine). Yes, I saw that, but it still doesn't make sense to me. In this screenshot, KDAVISOFFSITE is listed under the activity, but I am not syncing Intranet_Local with KDAVISOFFSITE.
  20. So my Peers Online says 2 of 2 for all of my folders, and if I click on it, the only machine displayed (Synced with) is KDAVISOFFSITE, not matter which machine I am looking at. 2 of these folders should say 3 of 3, one folder should say 4 of 4. KDAVISOFFSITE is not even syncing those 2 (3 of 3) folders. Am I reading this wrong is the UI broken? Syncing appears to be working correctly, it's just the UI I have a problem with.
