  1. Where the files you are referencing are stored, however, I figured it out. We run this as Local System, not a user account (too much trouble having to update passwords for changing user accounts and it's not safe since it has to be an administrator). For some reason, in the past, the config files for services were stored in C:\ProgramData\Resilio Sync Service. But I just realized that they are now stored here: C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\Resilio Sync Service Which explains why the upgrade broke it, because all of those files were moved to c:\Windows.old.
  2. Where? BTW, I had no issues upgrading to 1803 on a different machine, one that does not run Resilio Sync as a service.
  3. I just updated one of my machines from 1709 to 1803 and the config gone!
  4. I know it does not have to be installed as a service, I was just asking if you had installed some of them as a service. When it's installed as a service, you have to use the browser UI.
  5. Did you install Sync as a Service on some of these machines?
  6. This is not my experience - I have 4 machines that I run as Local System and have for several months now and have had zero issues.
  7. FYI, I do the same thing (regularly) and found that if I exited Sync, rather than use Pause, I did not have this issue. Seems that Pause only pauses the actual Sync, not the monitoring of file changes.
  8. I think the issue was that I am using Junction points - they sync just fine, but the file change notification does not work. I am using Junction points because I had so many folders that it took a very long time to configure a new client. If there was some way to export and import the configuration to a new machine...
  9. Another example, I have a subfolder of a bunch of files: C:\Sync\PHPStorm I deleted all the files in this folder, but not all of the them were deleted on all machines, and some of them came back to the machine I deleted them from!!
  10. Auto-update is not working. Tried from multiple machines, multiple sites.
  11. Well, of course as soon as I posted the above, they synced (took about 6 minutes). Normally, it takes less than a minute for a couple of small files like that to sync.
  12. It's various files in various subfolders, all within this large folder that I'm syncing. For example, about 6 minutes ago I changed these files and no activity in Sync: C:\Sync\Scripts\src\IntranetEnvVars.au3 C:\Sync\Scripts\bin\IntranetEnvVars.exe
  13. Initial problem was one folder had files that were locked and so the initial sync could not sync, so the new changes never synced either. Still having issues at times with files not syncing without starting and stopping the application.
  14. Actually, I have a 32GB folder that syncs find, I just realized. So maybe the number of files? The 32GB one has 1010 files.
  15. Well, that last test was invalid - I forgot it will not sync zero byte files. So new files, will sync. Changes to existing, will not sync.
  16. I take it back, I just created a new file and that is not syncing either.
  17. I have had zero trouble with actual syncing or timeliness of syncing until now. I have a very large folder that I am syncing (16.83 GB, 5792 files) that won't sync changes. I can add a new file, and that syncs, but changes to existing files will not sync. Maybe I have reached a size limitation?
  18. I guess I'm not being clear. I have several devices already connected - those devices work. I'm trying to install on a new machine. Most of the time it works, but this one machine did not work - when I clicked Link Device I did not get the popup so that I could enter the key (not get the key, enter it). FYI, I found a workaround: Settings, License, then click on on the manual connection link.
  19. I've never had to do that before, normally I just link with a device that has a valid license and it works.
  20. I am converting a machine to use Sync as a service (Windows 7 Pro, x64). I got it installed and all appears to be working, but when I click Link Device, nothing happens. I've tried Chrome and IE.
  21. I don't use this feature much (Selective Sync), but I just did and on the first item I selected to sync, explorer.exe crashed. The item did sync, however. 22. I haven't really messed with that. Do you mind starting a new thread and I'll try to test it with you?
  23. So apparently, now, if I want to ignore all of the contents of a folder AND the deletion or addition of the folder itself, I have to do this: vendor \vendor\*
