Corin
In the config file it is possible to specify the port btsync listens on. It is also possible to specify the IP and port for the web UI. However, I have failed to find a way to specify which IP btsync listens on. So when running v2.0.120 on linux, if multiple IP addresses are available, how do I configure btsync to use one IP instead of the another? Thanks. Helen
Sync listens to all interfaces but binds and takes local address from the first one. So to force Sync use certain IP, you need to predefine it on other peers, and disable LAN sears, DHT.
Corin
Alright, now that we know that I suspect we can make it work. Any chance to make the bound address configurable like the port?
Helen
if in your config you use web ui, you can predefine the IP in folder preferences.if you define shared folders in config, add the lines in the shared_folders section "known_hosts" : [ "192.168.x.x:12345" ]
