mr.canada
I'm syncing an entire external hard drive. this is critical to my workflow - i can't put it's files into a subfolder and just sync that folder. It's working, but i get errors about files that can't be synced because they're open or it doesn't have enough permission. I think they are hidden files that refer to what files have changed over time. sounds kind of important.... They have random file names, so i don't know how to exclude them. Helen
check their paths (click on a file in that list), and if they are located in one subfolder, you can ignore it. Well, at least fseventsd-uuid will be in .fseventsd subfolder. Not sure about others, these even look like ipv6 addresses? If you sync the whole drive, better also ignore .Spotlight-V100, .Trash-1000, .Trashes ._.Trashes and all other hidden subfolders that OS X creates.
