Spoolin
I've just setup Resilio Sync Home on my devices using by using my Key. While it seems unlikely, what stops someone from randomly entering my key on their device and gaining access to my files? Is there anything I can do on my end to require authorization before a new device is granted access?
Helen
1. if you don't share the key publicly, others will not get it. 2. if you mean someone might *guess* the key, it was discussed here on forum quite a lot years ago, see this thread, for example. 3. Keys are pre-authorized. Use links to require authorization, simply check the option
Cai
Worth noting that the chances of "randomly" guessing your key are so small as to be effectively zero. Like we're talking far, far less than one in a trillion. Absolutely not worth worrying about. Just keep it safe like you keep your passwords safe and you have no issues. If you get the PRO version, you can revoke access even after sharing a link.
