Sorry, not sure I understand correctly:
Do you have this error (Can not open the destination folder) when you try to add the folder or it just appears only for the already added folder? Are these folders - junctions to some other folders?As a test try mapping this network folder as a local drive

After editing "Advances' settings for them to be enabled, BitTorrent Sync should be restarted.
So you have multiple network interfaces, with which BitTorrent Sync doesn't work well yet. Try using predefined hosts in the shared folder settings. Put IP:port of the connected device, for transfer to go directly.

No, adding junctions as synced folder is not supported anymore. Yes, it was possible in v1.2., but not in 1.3. Though junctions inside a synced folder (normal folder) will work.
Sorry for the inconveniences, we will consider enabling them back in one of future releases. So far, please, use ordinary folders.

Check out if the updated binary and the storage folder (you storage path, if you use config) or .sync folder (the hidden folder where binary is) belong to the same user and the updated binary is launched under the owner of above mentioned folders.

The problem is most likely to be caused by xattrs. The ones that originate on Mac (listed in the end of the linked post) are not supported by Linux (it has different rules for them) Add them to .SyncIgnore on both devices and restart BitTorrent Sync.

1) did you try restarting BitTorrent Sync?
2) still try enabling rate_limit_local_peers (yes, I know that your devices sync not in LAN). Also, restart BitTorrent Sync after you edit advanced settings.
3) Are your devices connected directly or over relay? @noiime, please note that limits on relayed connection are not applied. You sync over the internet, but without racker, right?

better not sync the whole hard drive - there might unavailable system files and folders causing sync to stuck and low speed.
So, you first installed in on WIn7 and then shared the drive to a folder on Win Server, right? Are your PCs connected with a full-access secret? Could you please send debug logs from both PCs recorded at the same time to syncapp@bittorent.com? Put the link to this forum topic so that it is easier to identify what the ticket is about.

BitTorrent Sync doesn't hold files. it transfers them bit-to-bit just as they are and that's it.
A few questions:
1) You used a standard way to connect the phone to PC, via a QR code, not backup option, right?
2) Where the folder with photos located on Android - external or internal card? Is there .nomedia file in it?
The problem may be caused by media scanner on Android. After you delete the photo from PC it gets deleted from Android, but not from the gallery because media scanner is not triggered so you get corrupted image there. After reboot media scanner scans the folder and cleans up the deleted files from gallery.

So, the other PC has a TC volume mounted and folders syncing from it? What file system is it? Is it possible for you to format it as NTFS?

it happens when BitTorrent Sync cannot process the files on the sending side, or the receiving side cannot receive them, so sync stops even though the other peer are connected. Are they still connected when you see that files are no longer synced?
Anyway, please, send us logs from at least two peers - sending and one of the receiving, to see what the root cause it to syncapp@bittorrent.com Instruction for logs

it actually depend on your phone. But initially there is an option in Android cameras settings to change location from ext Sd card to internal. Sync will backup photos from internal SD card.

I have three questions:
1) what is your phone OS?2) You say "the laptop shows the data there". where? Is it in BitTorrent Sync UI or actually on the hard drive in the file manager?
3) Do you sync the whole disk drive?
Also, logs from the laptop would be needed. Here's instruction. Send it to syncapp@bittorrent.com and please send a link to this forum topic so that they knew where it comes from.

Indeed, If on the receiving peer you don't use an already existing folder, the creation time of the synced folder on the receiving peer will the current time when this folder is actually created. the same will be the mtime. You create folder - you have a creation time "now".
But once you edit some files on the folder the mtime of it updates and is synced.

try using predefined hosts. open the synced folder settings. on tab 'Properties' enable Predefined hosts and put there IP:port of the other peer.As for uninstalling BTSync, there is a folder ~/Library/Application Support/BitTorrent Sync/ which contains BTSync configuration and database files. You may manually remove it after deinstallation. Also, in Mac Terminal run this command: defaults delete com.bittorrent.Sync. -

where the folder is actually located in your Explorer - C:\Users\..... or C:\Home\....?
Error "Can't open the destination folder" means that the folder was deleted, renamed or moved to another directory in Explorer.
The simplest way is to remove it from BTSync and re-add it again (you will need to confirm ownership).

There are some temp files in your folders (details provided in reply to your feedback), which may be unavailable for BTSync. Please, check for those files.

Did the mtime and/or size of the edited file chnage after you worked on the file?
Try touching it. Open Mac's Terminal and navigate to the fodler with this file using commad 'cd'. When in the folder run command 'touch filename.ext (for example: touch File.txt).

Sorry, it's not quite clear.
Do you have these three folders (Pictures, Documents, Desktop) shared from RPI to all the mentioned devices? And when you reboot laptop, it doesn't connect by Documents to the rest of devices, though two other folder connect, right?
