Napperkt
Ok, so I just messed something up. I have two identities - one "corporate" for my servers (PRO Liscence) and one "private", which is pretty well connected to my corporate shares but has some private shared folders as well. Now I connected one of my computers to my corporate identity, but want to change that to my private identity instead. How do I do that? uninstall and try again? Unsure of how to proceed.. hungarianhc
I had a similar issue. I'm not sure if you're on a mac or not. If you are, on the machine you want to fix, go into Time Machine and roll back ~/Library/Application Support/Bittorrent Sync (or something like that) to the version of the files before you installed bittorrent sync 2.0. Then when you restart the app, it will think it's starting for the first time. If you're not on Mac, I'm sure those files are in a similar place on whichever OS you're on. Napperkt
Hi Hungarianhc, thanks für the quick help. That worked! I kinda must say, that I like 2.0. For me the single feature that people I share folders with don't can't see the key of the folder is worth the money already, so I am a happy camper now! wweich
There seems to be a build in function for that. You can go to your "My devices" list, select the current device and then click/tap on "unlink this device".I did not try it myself, but this should do what you were looking for. DesertShadow
I have two identities: All my desktop and laptop computers have the "Real" identityMy mobile phone has a "Extra" duplicate identity I want to remove the existing identity on my Android, and make it use the "Real" Identity. The steps above appear to only work for non-mobile.
Moe
I would say the easiest way is: Uninstall app from Android, re-install and then link your device to your "real" identity on your computer by scanning the QR code. Anton Rudov
To change the identity you can go to My Devices, select the current device and press "Unlink this device button" then Sync will ask you to create a new Identity or enter the secret for already existing one.We know that it is not clear, we will fix it in future releases

It only lets me create one.
DesertShadow
Please update the "Create Identity" page to have a button that is: "Manually link existing identity" Because without it, you have to Create Identity > Manual Connection > Paste code generated from other device SO confusing, because I don't want to ever create more than one identity
