Max29
Hi, I use BitTorrent Sync to sync data between two OS X devices. On both devices I have read-only files (from initial data copy before started with sync). When i delete a read-only file after a few seconds the file is recreated. Probably because the read-only file on the other device cannot be deleted by sync. How can I handle read-only files BitTorrent Sync?
Moe
Are you using read only shares as well?!
Max29
No. Read only files are just simple files on the main drive of the OS X devices.
Helen
Max29, Do they only have RO permission, or are they additionally "Locked'? Can you please write to support and submit logs from both peers, and can you please make a few screenshots - "Get Info" of this file, permissions section, and "ls -al" output in Terminal highlighting the affected file.
