Why if you're in UTC +1? Then date -u shall give you one hour less. So if the local time on your NAS is 14:00, then UTC will be 13:00. Or I google-translated it wrong? Helen Posted October 7, 2016 Report Share Posted October 7, 2016 Sync takes device's local time, verifies it against the time zone in devices settings, and gets the UTC time. On all devices this UTC is always same, regardless of what time zone the device actually is in.
