  1. Yes. 1.4 for me unless the reverse the decision on the 10 folder limit and the subscription model. I like to buy my software, not rent it.
  2. I fully support the need to make money to support the ongoing development of this fantastic product, but I don't agree with the way this is being done. By all means, use the subscription model FOR PREMIUM SUPPORT, but keep the software itself on a licence model instead. I'd gladly pay ONCE to buy the software and as required for major updates, but to demand that your customers pay a subscription for software we host and for storage and bandwidth that we provide ourselves is bordering on immoral.
  3. So, it's fair to say that this is a pretty popular request then. Any news on whether it's being considered for development any time soon or if it's already underway?
  4. Whilst I'm sure the community appreciate the fluid nature of development at this time, it would still be nice to know what enhancements you are considering, what kind of priority you are assigning to each and which ones are currently under development. Pretty please?
  5. Another one for the collection: Scheduling I'l like to be able to configure a schedule of maximum bandwidth allocation for any jobs syncing over the internet (to IP addresses on a different subnet?). For example: I'm syncing a number of machines on my LAN, but would also like to sync to some other machines over the internet. My ISP imposes a monthly cap on bandwidth usage, but between midnight and 8am usage is not metered/restricted. As such I'd like to limit / restrict syncing over the internet to that time window. BitTorrent clients such as uTorrent and BitComet provide schedulers for (what I presume to be) this very purpose. I'd love to see something similar in BitTorrent Sync. As an optional extra, maybe provide a second schedule for IP addresses on the LAN. Thanks for your consideration
  6. Thanks RomanZ - I've done as you suggested
  7. Sync over specific network interfaces Note: this is a re-post of an earlier thread. It was suggested by one of the admins that I add it to this thread. Some of the files I'm planning to sync from my MacBook Pro to my Windows Home Server are very large (virtual machines) and as such I'd like to enable syncing only when I've connected to my local network using Ethernet (rather than using the WiFi). This is because a sync over anything other than a local ethernet connection will take forever, massacre my WiFi and max out my broadband monthly data cap in no time. Request: For each sync folder, allow the user to specify which network interfaces may be used for syncing (default = All), so as I can de-select WiFi for these folders. On my mac, for example, I have the option of two thunderbolt ethernet interfaces, the WiFi and bluetooth. I'd like to enable the two ethernet interfaces for my VM sync folder and disable the others. For each sync folder, allow the user to specify if it should sync over LAN only (default = False) so as I can prevent these folders from syncing over the internet (when I'm in the office, for example, or maybe working on a mobile tether)Cheers, Pete

Mods, can you please move to BitTorrent Sync \ General Discussion
