  1. Sync Home Free does not work for you?

Ran multiple tests on multiple androids - file's deleted all right (provided PC has RW access to the share). Once " inside the phone Sync app itself the files were all reported as correctly deleted," they were removed. Are you sure you looked into the correct path in "ES File Explorer Pro"?
It would be great to get logs from your devices, but once you've uninstalled, then I guess I won't be able to tel what was going on in your case.

  2. no. Sync is not creating anything in sync shares, it's no capable of that. all that Sync creates is located in .sync in share's root , there indeed you will see temp files with .!sync extensions - these files are being synced at the moment. nothing more, nothing with ~ at the beginning of the filename, or some random extension  at the end.
Look at History in Sync - may be there'll be events on these files creation.

  3. do i get it right and the steps are:
    1. link this device to some remote one
    2. select mode "Disconnected" for this device
    3. right after confirming, all shares arrive from remote and are connected with Selective Sync off.
    right?

Never seen that in the lab. What are your devices? Sync version? Better send the debug logs to support right away till they keep the reproduction there. collect them from storage folder. thanks.

  4. Can you please share the following details:

    1) what Sync version you use
    2) what access to the share PC has. is it camera backup or a regular sync share?
    3) is Selective Sync enabled on either side?
    4) did you check History in Sync on PC - does it say "file abc removed' ?
    5) does restarting sync on both sides help?
    6) how do you check the success of deletion on the phone - Sync UI, Gallery, file manager?

  5. what you mean with "turn few sub folders off "?

If you don't want subfolder1, subfolder2, subfolder3, subfolder4 to sync, you need to enable Selective Sync for the share. But in this case it's expected that subfolder5 also won't sync automatically - Selective Sync is ENABLED. You need to click on subfolder5 and select to download it.

  6. 1) Disable Selective Sync , tap on "i" icon beside share name

    2) how is folder shared? what access both peers have? is Selective Sync ON on Mac? If Mac as RW access to the share, and it's connected to iPad, deletion will propagate there.
