Hi What is current best practice for syncing existing folders? I note that Sync puts a 'system folder' in the folder being shared.....if I setup a Sync share (creating the Sync system folder), then copy across the content outside sync (USB connected directed to source) and copy the payload would Sync see the content as synced? thanks for reply. I don't entirely understand the question, however my goal is the create a gold image of the following configuration: 1. Raspberry Pi 3 OSMC and Kodi Sync 2.0.93 I can install (sudo apt-get install btsync) and get btsync to do its thing. I have 'imaged' the SD card, and I can rol- out standard builds, however I can't seem to change btsync username. Even when I uninstall (sudo apt-get remove btsync) the original username persists. My poorly worded question was; 'is there a way to fully remove original username and re enter configuration process where I get to put in a new unique username?' Cheers, Geoff.

i don't think you are wrong. I've found latest low CPU version is 2.0.93, which in install by using sudo apt-get install btsync command on OSMC. its a shame because later versions of Sync have some nice fixes and features. The problem I've noticed in later versions isn't so much the web refresh, but the constant indexing of shared folders. To establish, remove all shares and see if page refresh has effect on CPU. Also 'top' command (command line) can be informative. Geoff.

Hi I've got 'orphan' .bts files on my Android mobile devices after file upload. I uploaded a local file from my android tablet which uploaded perfectly and propagated across my devices, however I noticed a residual file called [filename].[file extension].bts, which remained on my tablet long after the successful completion of the file upload. I can't seem to delete or hide. I understand this some form of placeholder file to give the appearance of completion prior to upload concluding How do I remove or prevent this duplication from appearing? Is it something do to with how mobile devices show hidden or temp files? Cheers, Geoff. BTW, lovin' the platform. Details I have assigned ownership to android tablet Tablet version V 2.0.27.1 'Server' version 2.0.93 (Raspberry Pi running Raspian) .bts files don't seem to be on 'Server'. .bts also seems to show on iOS device from file uploaded from Android...mmm....but not in shared folder on Raspian...
