  1. I don't know if it was a lack of sleep or the fact I haven't connected folders in a while but I was imagining things on how connecting folders worked. I thought that the shared folder would be placed under the path of the User/Pictures. Thanks for that and sorry to bother you guys
  2. Hi! I just tried adding a new folder for the first time in a while, and have this error showing up that has never been shown in the past. I attached it below. Despite having room on the drive and not having changed anything, it won't let me put it on my other computer without creating another subfolder for it to go in. All my other folders are placed in the main pictures folder or exist as a primary folder on an external HD. Any ideas what I could do or what may be causing this? Strange issue that makes it impossible to mirror the hard drives as I usually do. Thanks so much!
  3. Appreciate the quick response, that is what I thought to be the case most likely. Thanks!
  4. Hi, I just was curious about the function of folders when they are copied. When I copy a folder from one hard drive (#1) that has a folder already being synced to another computer's (#2), when viewed on the new hard drive which I copied it onto (#3) it has the Sync label in the Mac finder view. Does this mean that the new copied folder onto the 3rd external drive will also be synced? It is under a different name and is not listed under the folders when opened in Sync, it is just the view in the finder that leads me to believe that. The drive #3 is a backup of sorts, if that makes a difference. Cheers and thanks! Included an image of the folder in finder as well.
  5. Awesome thanks so much, I've made logs but one won't upload as it is 12mb, should I be putting it in a dropbox or possibly deleting the earlier characters to make it a transferable size on the website?
  6. Hi all, I've been using the program since the original version available to the public and it has been an amazing time saver! I work on photos on both my macbook and iMac often alternating, and it syncs whatever new images I take and the XMP file updates as I post process. Unfortunately for some reason I have had my files being sent to the archive when both computers are on, and it seems to be occurring for no reason as I have not changed any storage solutions recently or anything. At one point my drive with 500gb of files showed only 40gb left on the drive, yet when I hit get drive info it would still imply it has all 500gb. Thankfully it isn't deleting the files entirely, but I have had to purchase another backup drive as I'm afraid my current RAID backup will be useless if my files delete and are synced to delete, the archive was a savior in that case. Is this an issue that anyone else has experienced recently? It happened before I updated my Sync to 2.35 and has occurred twice since, I need this program to function for me and not have to spend time moving files back into their original folders from the archive. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Love Sync and hope to solve this soon
