Can we please have a little bit of info on this "major update"? Is it 6 weeks away? 6 months? I feel like it has been extremely quiet from Resilio in the last few months. Something weird is going on.

I'm not sure, I don't have exact date of release, sorry. Since it'll contains some big fixes and changes, it takes that long. Hope to have it out soon.

This is just ridiculous at this point.  A simple problem like this not getting taken care of in a timely manner just shows the company does not care about it's users / and is not serious about Mac users.  Time to remove this software and make sure others at my company stay away from it as well.

it is fixed. it was taken care and fixed months ago. it will be released together with 2.6 Sync version. It cannot be released earlier, cause it involved a number of other changes with icon.

While this is aesthetic and not functional, it does mean that anyone who runs dark mode has had a big old glaring white spot on their menubar for *four months*. No, I don't care if you have an update in the pipe - Resilio is clearly still pushing updates to version 2.5, and they can fix the *** icon. This is not an intractable architectural issue; it's drawing an icon on the screen.

I've been annoying by this too for about a year.  It is a trivial fix which should have been included in the next patch update and not wait for a major release.  I'm in 2.5.12 (1191) which is the latest version and I still have the annoying status bar color.

So here we are 7 months later.

A spectacular display by Resilio of being unable to fix and release such a trivial issue in an acceptable timeframe, I am beginning to worry about Resilio's capability to handle non-trivial issues.

Not to mention the Java client still holding top ranking on my Mac's "Using significant energy" programs list.

Is the company in financial trouble? I hope not, as I love the program -- however it would be nice to see regular updates and a less resource-intensive client implementation.

Resilio MIA for 7 months, Helen MIA for 3 months; ridiculous doesn't begin to cover this. I want a detailed technical explanation for this not being possible in v2.5.x, or I'm simply chalking it up to customer-hostile laziness and incompetence.

I would like to apologise for a long waiting time. This is already fixed and a part of upcoming release that is in testing. I would like to offer you an early access to it, so you will have the issue solved ASAP. Just PM me with your contact email.

Please count me in being another customer feeling visually distracted by that bug! I know it's a "first world problem", but nonetheless this has been totally driving me nuts for months!

It's super annoying that this is still an issue over 8 months after being reported... can they make it to a whole year? Probably.

It's a small thing but I'd expect better than that for software I actually pay for. It's does make you wonder about renewing subscriptions when such small things take so long to rectify. Obviously not a very customer friendly dev process.

We've just released RC build of new Sync 2.6. It solves the icon issue. Feel free to give it a try. Keep in mind it is RC and there still might be some issues. If you will discover anything please report them.

Thank you Kos.

Having installed the RC, I can see the icon issue is fixed which is great.

I know a small development team must prioritise their pipeline, and that the enterprise side of Resilio is exciting and means more money, however please don't let Resilio Sync Home become abandonware as the same people that use it at home (i.e. us) are the ones that will recommend the Business or Enterprise versions (or warn against them) once they are at their workplace.

The sequence of unexpected events delayed Sync 2.6. I can see how this might look like product becomes abandoned, but I want to assure you it is not. We will continue developing Sync. I hope that besides fixed icon you will enjoy faster transfer speed and free single file transfer.

Thank you for your support guys.

Happy syncing.
