  1. When you add the folder from the second system (separate installation of Sync) the share ID (set up by the peer on the first system) got overwritten - the first user's installation expects other ID and gives the error. And there seems to be no way to bypass it in your case.
  2. It isn't possible to add a shared folder (including Camera backup) to Sync twice or share the same shared folder several times to different locations on one peer. Each shared folder has a unique ID file used by Sync to recognize the Sync share - there can be only one folder with the unique ID.
  3. There are numerous guides, e.g. this. Resilio Sync is not CA. The certificate is a self-signed one - of course, they aren't that secure as those issued by CA.
  4. By default, Resilio Sync uses self-signed certificate (no need to generate a new one) causing the browser to give a warning, here are several workarounds: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404757430291-Browser-warning-Your-connection-is-not-private- So, there is no much sense in generating the new self-signed certificate. When one acquires a certificate from CA to protect access to Sync's WebUI, one should also specify the path to the private key ("ssl_private_key") : https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/206178884-Running-Sync-in-configuration-mode
  5. The below guide should be of assistance: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/205506569-Can-I-connect-two-pre-populated-folders-
  6. Yes, it's a bug. It should be fixed in the upcoming release.
  7. This is not supported in Resilio Sync.
  8. In Sync Free there is no "Disconnect" option. If you're going to move the shared folder to another partition, it should be removed from Sync and added to Sync again from the new location (with a key or link from other peer if the shared folder is synced with someone). The below guide should be of assistance: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/205506569-Can-I-connect-two-pre-populated-pre-existing-folders-
  9. This is a known bug. It should be fixed in the nearest update of Sync.
  10. Yes, it is. The behavior of backups is described in our Knowledge Base article: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/204762339-How-to-Back-up-data-Android-only-
  11. The fix has been included into universal binary. It can be downloaded from our website (it's not available for auto-update) : https://www.resilio.com/platforms/desktop/
  12. Per EULA only the Sync Business version can be used for commercial purposes. The minimal Sync Business package is a Small Team license including 5 seats.
  13. Management Console is a part of Resilio Connect product. Additional seats for Business license can be purchased from License Management Console: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/210447203-How-to-use-license-management-console In Sync Business, the License Owner can manage seats from Resilio Sync's "Preferences (Settings) > License".
  14. @larryjb here is the guide on how to reset the WebUI credentials: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/205450295-How-do-I-reset-my-WebUI-password- On NAS, Sync Storage folder can be accessed via Terminal when connected to the NAS over SSH. Also, before proceeding with the resetting Sync should be stopped from App Center and the tab with WebUI should be closed.
  15. Cloning or migrating of Sync instance isn't supported: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/360018421940-Cloning-Sync To have a clean install of Sync on the new device, remove the previously moved Sync Storage folder, and run the downloaded installer again.
  16. You can try to "touch" the version of the file that you want to propagate to other peers (the previous (old) versions will be moved to Archive on the rest of the peers, if the Archive enabled): https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/209606046-How-to-touch-files- The alternative to this way is re-adding of the file to the shared folder.
  17. For those who also encounter the same case - here is the dedicated article: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/205506569-Can-I-connect-two-pre-populated-pre-existing-folders-
  18. In the backup, Sync transfer the files once. If the files are moved somewhere on the destination and Sync detects that the files are no longer in the backup there, it warns about this finding - then the user is to decide whether to re-download the files (Revert) or ignore the warning if it's okay. Do you re-add Camera backup to Sync? If no, please elaborate more on your setup: include the info about your peers, their OS, peculiarities about the storage if there are any.
  19. For those who encounter the same/similar issue: "Documents" folder contains symbolic links (junctions) to the real folders: "My Music", "My Pictures", "My Videos" which usually cause errors about not enough permissions. If UI ("Status" column and details from "Peers online") and History tab are not helpful, contact support with the debug logs.
  20. Please contact Support with the debug logs from all peers. With the logs we'd also appreciate details about the file system of the drives/partitions on which the shared folder is located on each of the peers.
  21. This is one of the extensions for Explorer. It happens that antivirus considers .dll malicious, but this is a false-positive reaction. If you have any doubts, you can calculate MD5 or SHA1 checksum of ShellExtensionPath86_55F.dll file and let us compare. Don't forget to specify what version of Sync you have installed.
  22. The scenario is possible to implement but not with Camera backup since it's Read Only. See the article about nested folders: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/205506159-Is-it-possible-to-share-a-nested-folder-separately-
  23. There must be IP as well; you can send logs to support for a check. If it's Standard folder, the folder should be removed (on all peers) and added to Sync again. If it's Advanced folder, the peer with "Owner" permissions can disconnect the shady peer. You may also want to recreate the identity, if there is any suspicious peer linked to it.
  24. We prefer to investigate such issues in tickets, moreover it includes analyzing of debug logs and dumps. You're free to share what was wrong in your case once the investigation is over. It's up to you.
  25. It might be that the placeholder was removed - it equals to "Remove from all devices": https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/206115384-What-Is-an-RSLS-File- (covered in "Deleting files" section)
