It contains all the changes and fixes that are delivered in 1.4.106, plus the possible fix for one of "Out Of Sync" issue root causes. Installation instructions. You don't need to upgrade. Just shut down Sync, replace the executable file and start Sync again. Installation required for all peers in your mesh. Build 1.4.10019 links. I really appreciate your feedback and debug logs even if build proves working for you and fixes your "Out of Sync" issue. @benstrousers Do you mean - an experimental build for glibc 2.3 or something else?

@lupus Yep, we got the file - and already found the root cause. It covers in the way how Office opens files. We are now researching the way to avoid file being opened by Sync when office opens it. Thanks for your assistance.

@cdodgen Thanks. Did you run also "uname -r" command? What is the output? Also, when you'll try uname -r please aslo try "uname -a" and paste the output here. Thanks!

@creotom We can find out what's wrong between Android and your desktop only if you can collect debug logs from both devices when issue reproduces and send to me.

@lupus Support usually processes new tickets within first 24 hours (except ones coming on weekend). I checked it manually and did not manage to find any incoming message from you or wetransfer for about last 2 weeks. @all I've sent a new version of experimental build (1.4.10019) to everyone requested. If it proves working - it is very likely to be included in next 1.4 public release. Looking forward for your testing results! @shawnwilliams910 BitTorrent has a number of products, and this forum branch is dedicated to "BitTorrent Sync". Which product are you experiencing issues with? @yottabit It does not fit for general use, therefore I don't want to drop it to forums and be freely available for everyone who encounters it. The change touches the way how Sync operates the queue of torrents. The worst thing could happen I can think of is that Sync stucks completely and can't synchronize anything at all. In general the build has not been fully covered with QA tests, so technically it can contain some issues / degradations. Unfortunately we don't have a freeBSD build of experimental build at the moment, so I can drop only Linux for you. I'll drop a FreeBSD build for you on Monday.

@Luis Maria Could you please clarify - how your ADSLs are related to your computer? Are they USB modems which create another network adapters or they are separate entities in the network?

@Rawhide It is not possible currently. Though, iOS8 has a feature allowing apps to get some limited access to other apps sandboxes, so it might be possible to improve interoperability of Sync with other apps on iOS8 in future.

@frank@btsync Sync 1.4 does not support Win2k. For vista and XP - you can use 1.4, though you'll have to run WebUI (Sync will take care of it. Just make sure you've got some default browser other than IE).

@germanium Could you please share a scenario - how did you manage to restart iOS photo counter? What is the model of your iOS device and what is the iOS version?

@Ahmed Badr Which Android device do you have? This is a known issue which occurs when some certain Android models are present in mesh. Try turning Android Sync off and see the issue is gone. We are working to make permanent fix for it (no need for debugs, we've got repro in our lab).

@cdodgen We'll check why could it happen. I (or my colleagues) get back to this topic.

@tadiotto Just sent you build links. Try it please. If it does not fix your issue - we'll inspect your logs carefully.

@ech1965 Unfortunately it is not possible at the moment. I can only advise to shut sync down before running lightroom and start it when lightroom quits. That would be rather simple shellscript which you'll need to start instead of lightroom.

Scott, Yes, it is possible. Call "get_folder_peers" and make sure that upload and download params are equal zero. This indicates that folders are synced.
