  1. This is not a problem of Resilio, is a problem of the DSM APP Universal Search. The root cause is (sentence found in DSM Help - Media Indexing): "Multimedia files added to indexed folders via the NFS or SCP protocol will not be scanned automatically. To index such files, click Re-index". It means, after Indexing you also see the images.
  2. I use Resilio on all my Windows 10 computers without problem, but is installed as service. Maybe test also the service, if runs. If yes, is maybe only a GUI problem with the Traytool you have not with the service installation. With that you have only the browser GUI.
  3. Resilio should now really introduce a regulation, the uncertainty is present.
  4. Admittedly, after the multi-page debate on this problem, I also would now expect a official statement from Resilio how to deal with this problem in a final and fair manner. There should be an official regulation. Only talk about doesn't help anything if Resilio doesn't make any commitments. If I were a user of Windows Server and my licenses suddenly stopped working, I would also be angry.
  5. The one who can read has the advantage. Scolding doesn't help! On my side on different servers and clients is running smoothly. Get in touch with support and with your concerns. It is not normal that Windows Server is used in private households, a mainframe also might not be assumed privately. But as you can read in detail now, you are not alone with privat Windows Server problem.
  6. @Helen, thanks, is not for me, because I doesnt use Window Server, I have different Synology NAS, Windows computers and Smartphones and with my licenses all is running well, also Android APP in this moment, was not so good in the past. Its only regarding the privat people are using Windows Server and have no solution for now.
  7. License terms can be changed, but should apply to all new customers from the time of the change. If the installations and licenses were running on Windows Server before v2.7.0, it should do it again now, that's my opinion. Formally, it would probably be relatively easy to regulate over the used license. Otherwise, I wouldn't really know how the provision for Windows Server could be regulated precisely. There are also the guidelines https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/205450995-Student-and-Nonprofit-licensing over which exceptions could possibly be set up via the support. Any license that is purchased can also be verified. A company never buys software or licenses as a private person. Such an institution is usually already recognizable by name, e.g. the legal form, name extension, etc. The fact that private persons run a Windows Server surely is shot at sparrows by cannons, there are different reasons for doing so - see all the posts. Windows Server is a professional tool in company environments and is also very widespread there. I can understand that the license regulation may look different, as for NAS, which are used more privately or agencies or small businesses. Maybe an exception can be granted to those with Window Server who already have a license, can contact here or contact the support and can prove that they are private persons or that their establishment has a private character.
  8. It seems you use the version of the package center and that is old, current we have v2.7.0. Is better to uninstall that and to use the official version from the home page https://download-cdn.resilio.com/2.7.0.1366/Synology/resiliosync_armada375_DSM6_2.7.0.1366-1.spk https://www.synology.com/en-us/knowledgebase/DSM/tutorial/Compatibility_Peripherals/What_kind_of_CPU_does_my_NAS_have
  9. I can understand this idea, maybe is good. However, everyone should be aware that this is a temporary idea. Because Windows Server is also making progress and if a v2.6.5 is running reliably today, this version will also need updates for the adjustment at some point. It must be clear that this would no longer be possible and you are faced with the same situation again. The question in the round would be what the readiness would then look like.
  10. Syncthing has the options Coincidence, Alphabetical, smallest first, biggest first, oldest first, newest first, The question is, however, in which cases this options makes sense, since the synchronization with Resilio is usually very fast and also faster compared to Syncthing. Whereby Synchting is also not slow either.
  11. Doe you have updated? https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/206179284-ASUSTOR
  12. From my Synology glasses I would say "root", but I don't think anyone can finally clarify that here. Perhaps this can be better clarified in the Netgear forum. If I have authorization problems, I reset all ACLs in the concerned directory via the console to root:root, octal 0777 and overwrite them again on the NAS with the NAS ACLs and inherit them into the subfolders. So far, this has eliminated all problems. But I have Synology Servers and I don't know if that work for your Netgears.
  13. Same on my side. I have both, PRO and FAMILY licenses and all my Devices, Windows 10 and different Synology Servers are updated to v2.7.0 und running perfectly. Only Android APP is v2.6.3 and I hope in the near future we get a update to v2.7.0. I also think that in a small environment or in small companies no Windows Server with domain controller is required, the "normal" Windows sharing functionality is basically sufficient and "you can get most of WS' non-domain functionality out of Pro, Pro for Workstations, or Enterprise". At some point, of course, the question arises whether the effort to maintain user profiles is easier with domain controllers because the number of clients etc. is higher or high. Or you want it as a "hobby" because it's nice to have it, maybe even as an individual or one person. In this respect, I agree that other people do not know how it behaves, it is assumed that who runs Windows Server, has an administration behind it and can afford corresponding software licenses. I think that's okay too. I think the above affected should describe their environment in order to be able to make better judgments.
  14. Such things would be good in https://forum.resilio.com/forum/110-feature-requests/
  15. With https:// I have also problems with IE and Edge, also in Firefox and Google Chrome.
  16. In my both newest versions of browsers IE and Edge is TLS 1.2 enabled and the GUI is running perfectly.
  17. Thats okay, I think we also get from Google App Store
  18. As before, may is best to open a ticket at Resilio support, because it seems not supported. Look last line of follow table. The meaning is for me, only Windows Server, but I dont know exactly:
  19. May is best to open a ticket at Resilio support.
  20. I use Resilio, in the foretime BTsync, since v1.4.111 on my Synologys and used in the past the official SPK´s, which end at v2.6.2 as attached. Since a long time I use instead the directlink https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/206664850 Is that the same at the end, or in which way the link in the package center is working?
  21. Now v2.7.0 is released. I'm curious to see if the update cycles change. I believe that an update should be made at least once every quarter, even if there are only minor changes.
  22. @Helen, doe you have any news about the Android APP is currently still v2.6.3 and also would be v2.7.0 with some bug fixes?
  23. My request is to have more flexible IgnoreList features (?d) The file can be deleted if preventing directory removal (?i) Matching without case sensitivity so I can use e.g. (?d)(?i)Thumbs.db (?d)(?i).thumbnails (?d)(?i)ehthumbs.db (?d)(?i)desktop.ini (?d)sync.ffs_db (?d)sync.ffs_lock
