  1. You have installed Resilio as service or normal? Doe you check all permissions and made a reboot?
  2. That's the only thing that can be changed. The end of the path remains internally as a reference and must be adapted separately on each device.
  3. Is easy to use selectve sync, but is a PRO feature. The alternative would a preparde Ignorelist to block the related folders or files.
  4. If you use version 2.7.x you can rename the peer name in the GUI in the right click setting menu.
  5. Take a look around in that forum to see who is involved from the Resilio staff. In principle, the forum is supported by the members and they often have no solution because no Resilio staff play along, or far too rarely. That's a big problem. I recommend you to have a look in the Syncthing forum, it is much more dynamic, because Syncthing staff also work intensively on problems. The result is that their software is at least as good now and that more and more Resilio users are migrating to Syncthing even though they have a license. It's sad how Resilio deals with the community, which is also a driver of innovation.
  6. Mainly there are Pro features such as Local folder sync Selective sync Encrypted folders (but Iยดm not fully sure) Scheduler The first two of the points you can solve with tricky things, the last two are not so easy. If you dont use any of that points, is no problem to switch, in the main the tools are the same. Its the thinking about, in which way is the handling of the tools. The main difference between is, Resilio is a Peer related tool and Syncthing is a Device related tool Thats it. I find Syncthing is also more for technicians, because GUI and all have much more informations about all, and needs in relation to the Resilio Pro a little more assistance for setting up.
  7. And a guide to that all for developers regarding DSM 7-Beta: ๐Ÿ˜Ž https://global.download.synology.com/download/Document/Software/DeveloperGuide/Firmware/DSM/7.0/enu/DSM_Developer_Guide_7_0_Beta.pdf

  9. Yesterday the DSM 7 Beta has released and during the update a mark arise: https://www.synology.com/de-de/knowledgebase/DSM/tutorial/Third_Party/supported_third_party_packages_beta
  10. Yesterday the DSM 7 Beta has released and during the update a mark arise: https://www.synology.com/de-de/knowledgebase/DSM/tutorial/Third_Party/supported_third_party_packages_beta
  11. Is not so easy and that issue is not new https://forum.resilio.com/topic/72409-synology-dsm-7-beta-current-third-party-incompatible/?tab=comments#comment-155628 No comment about and if I have a look to the update cycles, it seems we need patience .... ๐Ÿคญ
  12. First of all, since I have not used Resilio before, now and in the future in that environment, it is superfluous and I therefore do not violate any license terms. I am describing a limitation here, which seems important for me. What I take as a joke is that the support here is not reporting because of this licensing history. Topic posted by me for discussion on June 5th, 2020, my request on June 30th, 2020, with a comment on November 11th, 2020 I will receive encouragement. And now on December 8th, 2020 you will come back to it as a member. You mean you know the answer, why Resilio support didn't answer? Take a look around in that forum to see who is involved from the Resilio staff. In principle, the forum is supported by the members and they often have no solution because no Resilio staff play along, or far too rarely. That's a big problem. I recommend you to have a look in the Syncthing forum, it is much more dynamic, because Syncthing staff also work intensively on problems. The result is that their software is at least as good now and that more and more Resilio users are migrating to Syncthing even though they have a license. You are welcome to convince me by showing how the issue is solved here. In any case, I cannot reconfigure Resilio via the GUI or in a simple way or via Poweruser Settings etc. so that I can close the topic.
  13. Maybe use the documentation https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/205458165-Ignoring-files-in-Sync-Ignore-List- Finally is the best to test it in a special folder. For me seems to have the values *. ????????. ????????
  14. Setting up multiple instances is definitely possible somehow. But I imagine this to be difficult, since of course all references have to be adjusted manually and accordingly. I think an adapted administration is better. Resilio is a client tool and not a user tool. If Resilio is installed on a server, it is a server tool and has to be looked after by an admin like all other tools on it. I don't know of any such or similar tool that has user control and thus user accounts that allow individual settings. The issue of performance is also important to consider, because not only does every instance take away resources, but also every file and directory because everything has to be managed. In this respect, I would consider setting up multiple instances.
  15. That Resilio work properly, it needs Internet connection and auto UPnP by the Router or manually fixed and open Ports. Also all the Firewalls and Antivirus need to check etc. etc.
  16. However, this means that more and more users are joining Syncthing. You can see that in the Syncthing forum. I keep reading "I've been using Resilio so far and ..." or something like that. Is that supposed to be the goal?
  17. It is better to officially write to Resilio about this. The people from Resilio hardly move in this forum, at least you don't notice anything.
  18. Finally is a remark with no content on my experience. No data are delete, is only the peer. Further, with that Update cycles of Resilio I think in the coming time is no view on such minor things. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿง๐Ÿ˜‡
  19. Maybe give your file a other name... ๐Ÿ˜‰ I never use such Ignore functions, since Resilio have no reset tools for the different issues I can use for such different remarks. Also If you reconnect a device, you have that twice in the device list. The old one to delete is also not possible. Its a similar problem for me.
  20. Maybe try another browser or maybe to clear the cache (?).
  21. What happen, If you close and reopen the same file? If not appear the same Message for that file but for each other and If no auto reset is implemented, no reset is possible. Finally from time to time and If all synced, I stop Resilio and delete on all devices the database for a reorganisation. Its a good way for some difficult cases.
  22. I would negotiate very easily, since Resilio is ready to talk. Unfortunately, this is a process that has other reasons and to which I have already referred many times in this forum here. Everyone can get an idea of the update cycles and the forum activities, how they are here and how they are at Syncthing. In short, they are two different worlds. And even those who have licenses can be found in the Syncthing forum, including me, also with licenses. I use both Resilio and Syncthing in parallel, although the focus has shifted from Resilio to Syncthing. Nevertheless, Resilio is still a first-class software, but in the meantime it has had first-class competition. Sad but true, Resilio has allowed it and has let it come to this point with this inertia and inactivity in the community and in this forum.
  23. Trying to reinstall Resilio over again won't work. It should be completely deinstalled and all remnants such as profile, work files, indexes etc. should be removed, e.g. in Windows under C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Resilio Sync Service After reboot you can try again and to setup all new, is better.
