  1. Well, that's your problem - this issue was addressed in 1.4.99 - so you'll need to update from 1.4.93. The latest version at time of writing is 1.4.103
  2. The Android app does have debug logs! To send them, use the "Send Feedback" option. After you compose your message, you'll be asked if you want to attach debug logs with it. For more information, please see Collecting Debug Logs
  3. Ah, yes - my apologies - I forgot we were talking about accessing the web ui directly through your browser. These advanced parameters are not currently accessible when accessing Sync through your browser (which is the only option on Windows if you have IE<9 installed). Hopefully the ability to modify these advance options will eventually come to the web ui, however, in the meantime, you can still set these advanced settings by specifying them in a config file and then running BTSync.exe with /config <path_to_config> (or though the API with the set_prefs call)
  4. Huh? Both lan_encrypt_data and sync_trash_ttl settings are still present in 1.4!! (Preferences (cog icon) -> Advanced -> More Options)
  5. Thanks for reporting - I'll flag this up. In the meantime, the correct URL for the current QNAP page on BTSync is: http://www.qnap.com/i/useng/app_center/con_show.php?op=showone&internalName=BitTorrentSync&version=1.4.76&down_1_name=TS-NASX86&jump_win=1
  6. Many of the "bugs" you list HAVE since been fixed!! - For example, the "listening port" bug was resolved for 1.4.93
  7. Nope - 1.3.x is no longer maintained. Why do you feel that 1.4.x is "not usable in the meantime"? If you're suffering from the "newer files overwritten by older files" issue, as per the theme of this thread, the latest 1.4 build (1.4.103) should address this.
  8. @casacota, glad it's working for you! The initial "blank UI" and "high CPU" you initially saw was likely due to Sync re-indexing content/upgrading its database following your update from 1.3->1.4
  9. @eric.kolotyluk, the latest build is 1.4.103, which fixes a number of issues with 1.4.93 (and earlier 1.4.x builds) In relation to links, you can also add these directly into Sync (via Preferences -> Enter a Key), rather than via your browser.
  10. Firstly, I'm assuming you mean 1.4.103? Secondly, with Sync running try accessing navigate to http://127.0.0.1:8888/gui in your browser. If that doesn't connect, run BTSync.exe with the "/webui" command line switch. If however it does connect, but doesn't display correctly in your browser, installing Firefox or Google Chrome will likely solve the issue, as "IronPortable" itself isn't a supported browser.
  11. Might be more constructive to elaborate on WHY you're still on 1.3.109? - Is it because 1.4 originally didn't work on Windows XP for you? ...because 1.4 is now supported on Windows XP
  12. I've also experienced it a couple of times before - but on these occasions, it's only happened upon the "first run" of a new build i.e. exiting sync, installing a newer version of sync, and upon the first automatic run at the end of the install process, that's when it's happened for me previously - but as I say, it hasn't happened every time I've installed a newer build. I wonder/suspect that maybe when exiting Sync before performing an update, whether Sync hasn't "fully" exited when the update begins? I've not been able to reliably reproduce the issue, and on the odd occasion it has occurred, killing BTSync.exe via the task manager and running Sync again brings back the tray icon.

  15. @all - there's since been a couple of updates to the iOS app - the current version in the app store is 1.4.103 - has that solved the various issues you've all been experiencing with iOS 8?
  16. Yes - in the .sync\StreamsList file. There is only one of these files per folder you add to Sync. So if you're adding a folder containing lots of subfolders, there will still only be one .sync\StreamsList file for the entire folder tree. For more information, please see: Alt Streams and Xattrs in Sync
  17. @ablanco - Please update to 1.4.103 which addresses certain issues with being unable to save files to sync folders when Sync is running.
  18. Does this happen for you every time you start Sync, or is it an intermittent issue?
