  1. Have you tried updating to 2.2? 1.4.111 is no longer in active development, and the 2.x branch contains numerous performance improvements, new features, and fixes over 1.4.x.
  2. Check the exclusion rules in the folder's hidden .sync/IgnoreList file - you'll need to remove the following two exclusion rules: ~* *~ For more information, please see this help article.
  3. That's correct - only R2 of Windows 2008 variants is supported by Sync 2.x
  4. If you're syncing z:\, have you checked z:\.sync\Archive ? If there's nothing in .sync\Archive, check the preferences within Sync for folder you're syncing (i.e. z:\), and ensure that "Store deleted files in folder archive" is enabled. Also, check the global "Delete to trash" setting is enabled.
  5. @iswrong - in this instance, "I is wrong"(!) - and my apologies for the confusion - My quote was from yesterday's incarnation of that particular article, which has since been updated with new wording. To clarify the current position; Only customers who have a Pro subscription license will receive Priority Support. Therefore, if you were using Sync 2.0 or 2.1 PRO and you don't migrate your license over to "one-time" Personal Pro pricing, you'll remain as you were on annual subscription pricing and still have access to Priority Support.
  6. Please see my previous response. Previous Pro users of Sync 2.0 or 2.1 who have upgraded to an individual Pro license for 2.2 ARE still covered by Priority Support.
  7. Please see the Sync 2.2 FAQ: "all our customers who purchased a subscription license will continue to receive Priority Support, even after you upgrade to our new perpetual license"
  8. Why not just turn off selective sync then? With selective sync enabled, when you add new files/folders to an existing folder you're already selectively syncing, the new files won't start syncing with other devices until you explicitly instruct them to (by double clicking the corresponding .bts placeholders on your other devices)
  9. Previously, you could choose the install location of Sync (i.e. C:\Program Files\BitTorrent Sync), however Sync now installs everything (including the BTSync.exe executable) to %appdata%/BitTorrent Sync on Windows. Therefore if you have account restrictions/security policies in place which prevent access/installing executables to %appdata%, you won't be able to install Sync.
  10. @hungarianhc, thanks for reporting! - it appears you're being sent to an outdated URL, please use: https://www.getsync.com/buy/pricing instead.
  11. @hungarianhc, What URL are you taken to, as the current purchase screen looks like this: ...it's only $39.99/year for "Pro Teams", whereas "Pro Individual" is just $39.99 (one time)
  12. @all, as of Sync 2.2, @eaDir* and @SynoResource have been added to the default set of IgnoreList rules
  13. As of Sync 2.2, Advanced Preferences can now edited via the WebUI
  14. As of the newly released Sync 2.2, a 30-day Pro trial is now optional when you install Sync
  15. As of Sync 2.2 there is now a configurable delay as to when Sync starts processing files with certain extensions. These delays are defined within a user-editable "FileDelayConfig" file residing within Sync 2.2's settings directory.
  16. @NicCo, just to update you on the information that Moe previously provided (which was correct at time of writing) - Sync 2.2 has now been released which no longer has a 10 folder limit, and Pro pricing for personal use is now "one time", rather than "per year"! You can read more on Sync 2.2 here
  17. @all, you may be interested to know that Sync 2.2 has now been released - and the Sync team have listened! The pricing for personal use of the "Pro" version is now one-time (and no longer yearly/annual) Read more here
  18. @all, you may be interested to know that Sync 2.2 has now been released - and the Sync team have listened! Gone is the 10-folder limit in the "free" version, and gone is the "annual" pricing for personal use of the Pro version! Read more here
  19. @all, you may be interested to know that Sync 2.2 has now been released - and the Sync team have listened! Gone is the 10-folder limit in the "free" version, and gone is the "annual" pricing for personal use of the Pro version! Read more here
  20. This can already be achieved through the use of the Sync API - please see this thread.
  21. @rbtsync - before starting a new topic, please take a moment to ensure you're posting in the correct forum Thread moved to the Sync Developer forum
  22. Please see: How do I reset my WebUI password? (The location of your .sync settings folder may be determined here)
  23. Also, just to add to cipherplain's answer - when making changes to .sync/IgnoreList, make sure you restart Sync for the changes to take effect.
  24. Are you running any browser addons/extensions (i.e AdBlock) which may be interfering with the loading/display of the UI in your browsers, and is Javascript enabled?
  25. You could always add exclusion rules to .sync/IgnoreList. The generic "default" ignore rules which ship with Sync are designed to encompass common ignore rules for major OS's. Including ignore rules for EVERY os imaginable would lead to quite lengthy/messy .sync/IgnoreList files. As I say, you can always add your own exclusion rules to .sync/IgnoreList, however you may also like to add your voice/suggestion to this thread in the Feature Request forum too.
