    It's not actually a sync issue. It's an explorer issue where explorer is trying to get a thumbnail on an incomplete file.

    That is it, you just need to put that in the syncignore file of ALL computers.

    no Ideally for what you're doing just ignoring *.pst and *.ost would be enough to get done what you want done though. I found in one of my cases that PST file syncing while outlook is being used causes other problems like whole-system freezes on i7-4770s and corrupt PST files.

    Spaces in filenames don't work currently in syncignore, you need to replace them with "?" Also, on windows currently, you need to use "\" as folder separators and not "/"

    Don't use full paths. Use relative to the root of your share.

    Add "~$*" to a new line in the .syncignore file in the top level folder of your shares on all machines.

    1.1.x versions are no longer current. Please update to the current 1.2.82 build and retry.

    Are there programs using the files? What version of sync are you using on all these devices?

    Are both of your computers running with full control keys? If so, then the distinction between "computer a" and "computer b" isn't important, as both computers are considered equal if they both have full control keys.

    Sounds like the device has VERY low ram. What version of sync are you using?

    I haven't been able to observe this behavior you're seeing in my own test setup. If you're seeing that behavior it's POSSIBLE that your other nodes aren't talking to each other either because of blocking or a misconfiguration.

    And what is making you think it's failing and restarting?

    Did the Date Modified on the file change when truecrypt released the file?

    Are you attempting to use a previously generated secret (prior to using the API access) to get the encrypted secret for a folder?

    There may be ignored files. There may also be a case sensitivity conflict between multiple machines (can happen when going from windows to linux/mac) After the sync, give it about 30 minutes to see if it re-indexes and adds files or not. After that, you may need to compare file directory listings.
