  1. and what exactly is not working? Does your config indeed end like this? "overwrite_changes" : true // restore modified files to original version, ONLY for Read-Only folders } ....
  2. Sync is a user space application and option "Remove settings" only deletes its storage folder (user's %appdata%\Resilio Sync by default). Sync is not looking at other directories beyond that, especially at Program Files and Windows dirs. We will surely investigate this case. How did you install and ran Sync - perhaps, some customized configuration?
  3. Disable Simple mode in Sync settings on Android.
  4. neat! thank you for checking we'll see to release it officially. but not now yet.
  5. yes, from what I see they replied an hour after receiving your request. Did you receive their reply? UPD: ok, i see. the mail was .....@gmail.om, thus their reply didn't reach your inbox. Did you get it now?
  6. Camera backup - is a different share. You cannot get it to upload files to an already configured share! You need to do this: enable backup on the phone } select to share it and send the link (or key) to desktop paste the link to Sync there and select the location for the share.
  7. 1. Use File delay config: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/207491426-Setting-Delay-Time-For-Syncing Se if it helps in your case 2. It'll be applied to all .xlsx files , or whatever you add in the config. 3. nope. see p2 - it's by files' extension that delay works.
  8. @all, please contact support to get a test package. Thank you
  9. @hexcalibr received your support request. Update: in this case the problem was in two different processes running on one machine. Not a bug, but simply a confusion between these two. For all others who "have exact same issue": 1) check that you indeed have only 1 sync process especially on a linux. Check that Sync uses the same storage folder each time you start it. Covers >50% of reports. 2) check that you quit Sync correctly and give it time to save settings. Especially if you've just made some changes to identity - added advanced folders, linked devices, applied license, etc. Especially if you have a lot of sync shares with big database - shutting down will take a while. Don't do kill -9 or just press power button and don't 'shut down anyway' on windows. Covers ~45% of reports. 3) Check that you're on today's latest Sync version. Some old version indeed had troubles with saving settings in some cases, all of them are addressed. Covers around 3% of reports. 4) Some other undiscovered issue. With these, please contact support directly, send the debug logs to them and some details about your setup - if there's anything special about it, the pattern for the problem, etc. Thank you.
  10. No, you don't need new license. Please see all these covered in our Help Center: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/sections/201732793-Resilio-Sync-rebranding-Q-A
  11. yes, the form allows only 20Mb of attachments. If you have more than that, contact support without logs and ask them for link to upload all the logs.
  12. not supported at the moment. Perhaps, will be, but cannot tell for sure now. needs investigation and assessment yet.
  13. yeah, syncing is already done automatically (again, provided Sync app is running). In your case its was just set to Pause
  14. It will function like a regular Sync share - you can automatically push it to a linked device, or share the key with a non-linked remote device. Isn't it already there? You add the folder to Sync and give the key to certain devices.
  15. That's right, devices linked with one identity (they show up in "my devices" and have the same fingerprint), they all get access to each other's shares automatically. It means that if you add a folder to Sync on one of them, it'll appear in Sync on others (not necessary to actually sync files there). Same with removal. If you don't want this behavior, don't link devices, but instead share each folder individually. Now you need to unlink phone from NAS: on phone go to My devices -> this device -> Unlink, create separate identity for it
  16. It's unlikely to be related to router restart. See this topic - it covers the possible reasons.
  17. @AL40k, please, send all debug logs to support. Thank you.
  18. Remove the share from Sync and add it back again. If it does not help, send the logs to support, looks like there's a file or a few that prevent folder tree building and merging.
  19. do you mean that you want to sync files without the syncing tool running? Sorry, but Sync must be running so as to transfer files.
  20. Yes, you can. Somewhen on this forum this question was discussed quite a lot. Use this guide to reconnect the drive. Sync will rescan the files and resync only the difference.
  21. I'm not sure that simply moving the file to sync directory will change its timestamp. Unless, there's the same file with wrong timestamp on remote peers? What does Sync History say about this file?
