  1. @colinabroad I've sent you experimental build for the "locked files" issue. See details in mail, let me know results.
  2. @lupus I've sent you experimental built to e-mail. Let me know your testing results.
  3. @Juice370 Thanks for the screenshot, this is a known issue. You can't change RW folder to RO. You can add folder as RO using appropriate Link from PC, or remove the folder and add it with RO key via "Enter key" function.
  4. @Mutantx Sync actually should sync the photos even if iOS device is off - unless the file is changed. The fact that .!sync file appeared already indicates that Sync believes that picture hasn't been changed and Sync wants to send it. Its good question why didn't it finally send it. Could you please do 2 things. 1) Try to add some folder on your windows machine with RW key. To avoid authentication, don't use Links - just open preferences, copy RW key and deliver it to your Linux machine. Add another folder on Linux machine with this key, and check if sync is capable transferring files at all. 2) If test #1 passes and files are synced successfully - remove these test folders, turn on debug logs on Win and Linux, reproduce the issue and send debug logs to me. Also note what is the name of test photo - we'll try to track down what happens. @rossipedia Thanks for sharing. If you are willing to debug - we'll need your debug logs. @b0rman We got debug logs, thanks! Will keep you updated via ticketing system.
  5. @pjmsullivan Thanks for the logs - we'll analyze what happens there. @b0rman We'll take a look, thanks.
  6. @merlinuwe Thanks for that. Look, it does not matter if you enter your predefined hosts via WebUI or config - at the end of day it will end in sync.dat. However, if you are running Sync with config - config has priority over WebUI and might reset data set in UI on next start.
  7. @timmah87 Yep, mail dumps - we'll take a look. Though my bet is that sync gets "Access denied" somewhere. Please try moving storage to some less protected location.
  8. @timmah87 use_gui relates to UI in separate window, it does not prevent WebUI - and notification in webUI. Looks strange. Did you have a chance to collect dump? Wait for a second with dumps - there is something suspicious in your config. Why do you save data to program files? It is very likely UAC will prevent Sync from writing data there. Try to move storage to another location.
  9. @patoka Only ones related to introduction of Links in 1.4.
  10. @topche Could you try to enter a completely different path for the second Android Link? As for the pics deleted - are you using "Sync" or a new backup? When you are creating backup on android - it should not delete files from PC once they are deleted on mobile device. That's the whole idea of backup.
  11. @Tommmii Well, it means that Sync did not manage to create temp file to save this file during transfer. Actually, it might be synced later - so don't worry about it.
  12. @Triumph23 It simply indicate both peers did not manage to merge the tree of files. Could you please: 1. Enable debug logging. 2. Extend the log_size advanced preference to around 500Mb? 3. Provide logs for analysis.
  13. @DePingus There is no online bugtracker with voting. Though, you can post it / vote on Feature request forum. Every time we prepare content for upcoming release - we are going over it, categorizing and record all new stuff and pick some to implement. @ikwyl6 Not in closest future. Sorry.
  14. @davefwd When you click the link - it should be directed to your browser. After browser opens, it will show a web page with 2 buttons "Download Sync" and "I already have sync". If you click the latest, your browser should give you a warning that you are going to be redirected to Sync (and probably propose to remember your response). Next Sync should popup and add a new folder. On which step does it fail?
  15. @kbtombul It should work, though we highly do not recommend to use encrypted keys with mobile devices. ARM CPUs usually do not have hardware encryption support and Encrypted keys are going to load CPU heavily, as well as consume twice as much RAM - which at the end of day will result in extremely high power consumption.
  16. @Juice370 The versions difference should not cause such error. Could you please provide a screenshot of the error?
  17. @heimdal Both bugs are Yosemite-specific, known, and will be fixed.
  18. @topche To make sure I understand you correctly: 1. You create a backup in Sync on Android #1, it produces you a Link. 2. You enter this Link to Linux box (enter key or Link) and save it to some folder 3. You create another backup on Android #2, it produces new Link. 4. You enter this Link to Linux box and attempt to save it to same folder as in bullet 2? If yes - then all you need to change is path in bullet #4. If no - please elaborate.
  19. @snlehton Try sending the feedback after your attempt to scan the QR. Agree to send debug logs and put some description in the message body - we'll try to check if Sync saved anything to logs on why doesn't it want to scan the QR.
  20. @snlehton Does it still reproduce so we can attempt debugging?
  21. @Muhmahmie It is definitely not a configuration issue. We'll check reproduction in lab. Anything else specific? Any apps running when bug happened which could read / write files to Sync folder?
  22. Thanks for confirming. We are aware of it - will fix in future releases.
  23. @all, This usually happens when 2 peers can't connect. Do you have other folders that sync for these 2 peers? Also, you can try to remove the invitation and simply copy key from one computer and enter to another via "copy key" function - and see if they can conact each other at all.
  24. @Antal You can force the application to recheck everything by removing and adding folder again. Though, as you've got 2 Tb of data it will take significant time so index all the files again. Couple of questions to clarify your setup: 1. If you open peer list window - what does it show? Any particular files in queue? 2. What happens if you put a single small file in top folder - will it be synced? 3. If you turn on hidden files visibility - does it show you a number of !sync files? For the log - you need to enable full debug output to see what is actually happening.
